Having to write captions force us look differently at the World. We have to abandon the obvious notions and reach behind the surface (or, scratch the surface of our behind). The right use of words turns a tree into a depressed psychiatrist, a giant pill – into a smelly lap dog, a fish… Yes, what does a fish turn into?
Are you ready for the next challenge? Time for Caption Contest 2.
Rules: Each Thursday from June 28th through August 30th we will post a still from “Rocks in My Pockets.” Send your funny or depressing caption to captionrocks@gmail.com by the following Tuesday. The winning entry will be posted each Wednesday night. The winner will have the choice of receiving an original drawing from the film signed by Signe, or a signed DVD of “Ten Animated Films by Signe Baumane.”
Submit your caption for today’s picture by Tuesday July 10th. The winners will be announced on July 11th. The award will be mailed on July 14th.

He lay there like a fish out-of-water. Too large for his bathtub. Where might he fit ? She hurriedly calculated his measurements…possibly an aquarium or perhaps mounted on the wall of a restaurant in Cape Cod. Which would it be?
